Champ Camp Welcome

My name is Sarah Hogan and I serve as Director of Admissions here at Providence Academy (this is my 6th year at PA and 15th in Catholic education). Quick audience check-in..raise your hand if this is your first time to visit PA? Welcome!!! Hogwarts, a Palace, a Museum, the "Billboard" school are just a few of the monikers out there about PA. You should know that we feel very blessed to be celebrating our 10th year of existence as a pre-K-12 school of just over 900 students in this amazing Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis and we are a PARTNER in Catholic education here in this terrific great (but very cold) place we call home. As one of the Catholic high school hosts of the Champion camps, I would like you to know just a few things about Providence Academy, especially for any of your graduates as they look to continue their education in a Catholic high school. Why Providence?
Providence Academy offers many advantages for the tuition value:

ØTraditional Education: We do not follow the fads of the day. We offer a comprehensive and challenging curriculum built on the accumulated wisdom of the ages, with the complement of a wide range of extracurricular activities to challenge both the mind and the body.

ØOutstanding Faculty: We are serious about education. We view the formation of each student as a creative and well-informed thinker as our responsibility. Students benefit from enhanced student-faculty relationships.

ØChristian Vision: We believe that our children are created in God’s image and provide a strong foundation in the Catholic faith where God is at the center.

ØSuccessful graduates: We produce a superior product. Competitive colleges and the current workplace demand personnel that possess a blend of intelligence, practical skills, moral values, and spiritual maturity. We help students discover and develop their gifts in each of these areas so that they are prepared to offer practical and insightful solutions in their post-secondary lives as future civic, family, religious, and professional leaders. Finally, a very brief personal anecdote to share with you...hindsight is 20/20..after attending Catholic elementary school then 1987 hit public jr high/high. For us, Catholic education is truly about aiming higher.
